Cakes

At Simply From Scratch Bakery, cakes are our primary specialty, and quite possibly our favorite things on the menu. Our cakes come in the regular size (8" diameter, 3 layers tall), and some also come in mini size (5" diameter, 2 layers tall). Depending on how generously the slices are cut, the regular size can provide 10-12 large slices, while the mini can provide 5-6 smaller slices. All cakes come beautifully packaged and tied with a bow, perfect for gifting, serving at a party, or simply enjoying at home!

Chocolate

The Chocolate cake is our bestseller and comes in many variations. Available all year long, the chocolate cake is rich yet moist and any chocolate lover's delight. Can come in regular ($26) and mini ($16). Buttercream options include vanilla and chocolate, with optional rainbow or chocolate sprinkles. Regular size can be personalized with writing (+$2), mini size can be given a "Happy Birthday" topper (+$1). Ganache drizzle, pictured above, is available on either, (+$2).

Lemon Blueberry

Our Lemon Blueberry cake is perfectly made with fresh blueberries and fresh lemons. Light and moist, this cake is elegant in taste and visually appealing as well. Blueberries line the bottom edge, and swirls of its mascarpone buttercream decorate the top. Only available in regular ($34).

Caramel

The Caramel cake is also a fan-favorite. Caramel cake on the inside and a delicious caramel buttercream made from homemade caramel sauce on the outside. Optional white sprinkles on the dollops atop the cake. Mini cake comes with decorative edged sides. Available in regular size ($28) or mini ($18).

Chocolate Chip Bundt

The Chocolate Chip Bundt cake is a moist cake with melted chocolate chips on its inside. Chocolate ganache lines the ridges of the beautiful design of the cake. Serves approximately 12 slices, depending on how large they are cut. (+$22)

Cinnamon Crumble

Our Cinnamon Crumble cake works perfectly as a breakfast cake or for dessert. This is a vanilla-based cake with a cinnamon streusel in the middle and on the top, complete with a vanilla glaze. Served best when warmed!

Carrot

The carrot cake is traditionally spiced and very moist. Our carrot cake is seasonal and is available from September-November, as well as April. This cake is finished with classic cream cheese buttercream, “naked-style” on the sides and dollops to line the top perimeter. Available regular size (30) or mini size (18).

Chocolate / Oreo

The Oreo cake is the best of both worlds - chocolate and oreo. With a chocolate cake inside and oreo buttercream with oreo decorations on top, it is bound to be a hit. Can come in regular ($26) and mini ($16). Regular size can be personalized with writing (+$2), mini size can be given a "Happy Birthday" topper, or a number in the center (+$1). Ganache drizzle, pictured above, is available on either, (+$2).
